作文：Cultivate Your Character（培养你的个性）
Recently, I read an article about platform shoes, which are popular in Japan now. I really don't know why women wear this type of shoe to be fashionable and attractive. Unfortunately, according to studies, wearing platform shoes will increase pressure on the muscles and up the chances of injury.
If a woman wants to look more charming, she should not only wear fashionable clothes but should cultivate her character as well. A person's character counts most because it comes from within and does not depend on appearance alone. No matter what happens, if a person cultivates good character, she'll be more attractive than a person who merely wears fashionable clothes.
最近，我读到一篇有关「恨天高」的文章。「恨天高」现在在日本很流行。我真搞不懂这些女人为什么要穿这种鞋子来赶流行、吸引别人。很不幸地，根据研究指出，穿恨天高会增加肌肉的压力，而且更容易受伤。
如果一个女人想要更迷人，除了穿得「水水的」之外，她还应该培养良好的个性才是。一个人最重要的是个性，因为个性来自于内在，而不仅是仰赖外在的包装而已。无论如何，如果一个人能培养出良好的个性，会比一味赶流行的人来得有魅力多了。
